Ethics of Retouching

1. What ethical considerations must be made by someone using Photo shop to retouch a portrait photograph?.... Don't change the photo completely just make minor changes to it and clean up the photo to give the person a cleaner look and a clearer image.
2. Give an example of a positive use of photo retouching and a negative use of photo retouching.....A positive use of photo retouching is to touch up blemishes and pimples and make them fade away or disappear. A negative use of photo shop would be to change the whole  look of a person or make them look fake using photo shop. Also edits that make fun of a person are negative and taking away birth marks or freckles is negative because that makes the person who they are.
3. Has learning retouching processes caused you to look at advertisements, magazine images and other published photos of celebrities and models differently? In what ways?..... No not really outside of this class i really haven't remembered but now i will begin to look closer and try and pick out what has been changed.
